The Lombardy Region has announced a ranking evaluation call, accessible through a specific application by 15/07/202115/07/2021,to promote and support initiatives in favor of the Circular Economy, a measure strongly requested by Lombard companies for the positive repercussions on the induced and also wanted by the Regional Council to redevelop and enhance the supply chains.
The 2021 edition of the call, implemented by Unioncamere Lombardiaprovides 3 million 621 thousand euros and consists of a non-repayable contribution equal to 40% of the accessible expenses incurred by companies for a minimum investment of 40 thousand euros and a maximum contribution of 120 thousand euros..
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE
The initiative is aimed at all Micro-Small-Medium Enterprises in Lombardy that present projects in a single form or in the form of an aggregation composed of at least 3 companies representing the production chain.
PRESENTABLE PROJECTS
The project areas in which the above measure will be applicable are:
- Product and process innovation in terms of efficient use of resources and use of by-products in production cycles
- Reduction of waste production
- Reuse of goods and materials still having value
- Product and process innovation in terms of production and use of products from waste recovery
- Experimentation and application of tools to increase the life span of products and improve their reuse and recyclability (Eco-design)
- Implementation of tools and methodologies for the rational use of natural resources
- Reconversion of production for the realization of new materials and / or prototypes and for the development of devices and / or components also in the medical field or for safety at work
ELIGIBLE EXPENDITURE
- Investments (purchase/leasing) in technological equipment and computer programs necessary for the realization of the project
- Necessary advice to support the realization of the project
- Costs for assistance and costs of acquiring environmental process and product certifications (e.g.ISO 14001, EMAS, ECOLABEL, EPD, LCA etc.)
- Costs for assistance and costs of acquiring technical certifications and possible REACH registration
- Expenditure on software/hardware engineering services and technologies
- Expenses for materials and supplies, including prototypes
- Expenditure on the protection of industrial property
- Staff expenditure
Expenses must be incurred from 7 April 2021 and by 15 October 2022.
You can verify the validity of your enhancement project or study a methodology for the requalification of your products / production processes with a view to Circular Economy through a specific LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) analysis.
The LCA study is the technical reference that can demonstrate the environmental value of your project during the approval phase of the application for the callin question.
