With the decree of 06 October 2021, published in the Official Gazette no. 297 of 15 December 2021, comes an important communication from the Ministers of Ecological Transition, Economic Development and Economy and Finance:
Beneficiaries and access conditions:
Enterprises using materials and derived products, with recycled content of 75% or more from waste or scrap, can apply for a contribution for the expenses incurred in 2020. This contribution provides for a refund of 25% tax credit of the costs for the purchase of recycled products, each beneficiary will be able to obtain up to a maximum of 10,000 euros.
Applications can be submitted until 12.00 am on 21 February 2022through the Invitalia PA Digitale IT platform https://padigitale.invitalia.it/exclusively in electronic format (SPID digital identity required).
Support measures like this are intended to help companies increasingly embrace the circular economy.
Requirements:
The fulfilment of the technical requirements, which the purchased products must have, in order to have access to the contribution is demonstrated through:
- Aproduct label issued on the basis of an in-situ verification of the mass balance carried out by a conformity assessment organisation, accredited in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 765/2008, within the terms of a certification scheme on recycled content or a national technical standard or UNI reference practice;
- A product certification issued by a conformity assessment organisation accredited in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 765/2008 that validates, on the basis of an in-situ verification of the mass balance, the self-declared recycled content declared by the manufacturer in accordance with technical standard UNI EN ISO 14021;
- A environmental product declaration (EPD), in compliance with standard UNI EN 15804 or UNI EN ISO 14025certifying the recycled content.
