Regione Lombardia and Unioncamere Lombardia have approved the criteria for the call for applications (2022 edition) for innovation in circular economy supply chains.
OBJECTIVE OF THE CALL FOR PROPOSALS
The objective is to promote and upgrade Lombardy's supply chains, boosting their innovation and competitiveness in markets from a circular economy perspective, through support for:
- projects that promote the reuse and use of recycled materials, products and by-products or residues from production cycles as an alternative to virgin raw materials and the reduction of waste production;
- Eco-design, projects that take into account the entire product life cycle according to the Life Cycle Thinking methodology;;
- projects in points 1 and 2 that intend to provide a response to new economic and energy esi-gencies, with particular reference to prototyping and the development of new materials or products and/or components with a climate ve biodiversity positive ap-proach.
ELIGIBLE COSTS
Eligible expenses include the following types, net of VAT:
- Consulting Services (collaboration with Research organizations, specialized services for prototype development, technological check-ups, definition of business strategies, etc.), in an amount not exceeding 25% of current eligible expenses;
- Assistance and acquisition costs of process and product environmental certifications (e.g., ISO 14001, EMAS, ECOLABEL, EPD and LCA);
- Investment in technological equipment/IT programs necessary for project implementation;
- Assistance and costs of acquiring technical certifications and possible REACH registration;
- Costs for the protection of industrial property;
- Costs of company staff, only if expressly dedicated to the pro-ject (up to a maximum of 10 percent of the sum of the expense items).
WHO CAN APPLY
The call is aimed at MPMIs - micro, small and medium-sized enterprises with operational headquarters in Lombardy at the time of the grant. Enterprises can participate individually or in an aggregation composed of at least 3 enterprises representing the production chain. Enterprises that have been granted a grant under previous editions of the call may participate only in aggregate form. Other entities such as large enterprises, Mid Cap, trade centers, trade associations may participate in the aggregation.
FINANCIAL RESOURCES
The financial resources made available amount to 4.035 million euros, distributed as follows::
3 million euros from the Lombardy Region, of which:
1,500,000.00 General Directorate for Economic Development
1,500,000.00 General Directorate for Environment and Climate
1.035 million by the Chambers of Commerce, of which:
Bergamo: € 120,000
Brescia: € 50,000
Como - Lecco: € 100,000
Cremona: € 50,000
Mantova: € 40,000
Milano – Monza Brianza – Lodi: € 500.000
Sondrio: € 25.000
Varese: € 50.000
BENEFIT
The facilitation consists of a non-repayable contribution equal to 40 percent of the expenses incurred, for a minimum investment of 40,000.00 euros and a maximum disbursable contribution of 120,000.00 euros for projects presented by business aggregations and 100,000 euros for projects presented by individual companies.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Applications must be submitted exclusively electronically through http://webtelemaco.infocamere.it from 10 a.m. on June 20, 2022 until 4 p.m. on September 19, 2022.
In the case of projects submitted by an aggregation of enterprises, the lead partner is responsible for submitting the application.
