50% FOR LOMBARDY COMPANIES
In line with the objectives set for the coming years in the PNRR, the Lombardy Region has earmarked € 2,238,750.00 for small and medium-sized enterprises operating in the region, to help them improve their energy efficiency and adopt the ISO 50001 management system.
ISO 50001: the benefits
The standard ISO 50001 specifies the requirements for Energy management systems to improve the energy performance of companies. It also contributes to the achievement of sustainable development goals and sets a framework for establishing specific energy policies, processes, procedures and tasks to meet an organization's energy objectives.
The benefits of adopting an effective energy management system are: the possibility of implementing the energy saving opportunitiesreduction of energy costs, reduction of energy consumption, reduction of CO2 emissions, legal complianceimprovement of thecompany image and consequently increased commercial power (There is a growing trend to require accredited systems such as ISO 50001 in order to meet pre-contract award criteria).
BENEFICIARIES:
Small and medium-sized enterprises with registered and/or operational headquarters in Lombardy.
ELIGIBLE COSTS:
1) carrying out energy audits in the form of :
- services performed by technical experts, external to the company, for the preparation of the energy diagnosis in compliance with the criteria set out in Annex 2 of Legislative Decree 102/14 and the UNI CEI 16247-1-3 standards;
- possible installation of software or other devices for the analytical and dynamic measurement of energy consumption at the production site.
2) Adoption of the ISO 50001 management model in the form of:
- consultancy, including staff training, purchase of software/devices for collecting, measuring and analysing data in order to monitor and improve performance (and related costs);
- certification of compliance with the ISO 50001 standard, issued by an independent, accredited third-party organization;
- any support following the acquisition of the certificate of conformity (subject to the
the maximum limit for reporting), in order to promote the continuation of the reporting arrangements
management of energy needs.
MAXIMUM LIMIT:
- € 16.000 for each energy diagnosis (maximum recognised contribution of € 8.000 )
- € 32.000 for each adoption of the ISO 50001 management system (maximum recognised contribution € 16.000)
CRITERIA AND MODALITIES OF ACCESS TO THE CONTRIBUTION:
- The diagnosis must be made in date after the regional notice of grant award and must be completed in the following 4 months.
- Adoption of the management system ISO 50001 must be evidenced by the certificate of conformity; In addition, it should be acquired in date after the date of notification of the grant and in 28 months from communication.
Projects are approved by means of an evaluation procedure with a ranking list.
DEADLINE:
Submission of applications until 31 March 2022.
